An Unforgettable 9 Days in Thailand: Bangkok, Pattaya, Krabi, Phi Phi, and Phuket Adventures

Ever planned a trip that turned out to be way more fun, crazy, and full of unexpected experiences than you thought? Well, this Thailand trip was exactly that. Here’s how our 9 days Thailand itinerary turned from a casual plan to a mix of adrenaline, beaches, massages, and pure chaos (in the best way possible).

Day 1 – Flying Out to Thailand

We were four friends from the same organisation, all set for our Thailand adventure. An overnight flight from Delhi to Bangkok marked the beginning of what would be one of the most unforgettable trips of our lives.

Day 2 – Skywalks, Malls and Nightlife Madness in Bangkok

Our first stop was the Mahanakhon SkyWalk, around 10 AM. The view from the top is breathtaking — the entire Bangkok skyline spread beneath your feet. The glass tray, hanging 310 metres above the ground, is a must for thrill seekers. Honestly, for me, it wasn’t as scary as it looked, but people with fear of heights were definitely trembling. We spent around four hours there, mostly clicking endless photos (for memories and of course, for Instagram!). Later, we grabbed lunch at Terminal 21 Mall before heading back to our hotel. You can book your SkyWalk tickets from Klook.

After a quick nap, we got ready for Bangkok’s most infamous spot — Nana Plaza. Yes, that Nana Plaza. It was empty when we reached at 6:30 PM, but by 7:30 PM the crowd started rolling in, and so did the shows. We checked out a few of them — let’s just say, it was an experience.

Our night didn’t end there. We then moved to Soi Cowboy, grabbed drinks, danced, met people, and ended up coming back to our hotel around 2 AM. What a start!

Day 3 – Drone Shopping and Pattaya Vibes

After a long night, we woke up late, grabbed breakfast, and headed to MBK Centre, Bangkok’s iconic electronics hub. I had my eyes on a drone and ended up buying the DJI Avata 2 — cheaper than in India, so no second thoughts!

After shopping, we checked out from our hotel and booked a Grab XL for Pattaya. The 3 hour drive cost around 6000 Baht, and we reached our Airbnb by 6:30 PM. Later that night, we went to the 69 Show — an experience, to say the least. If you plan to go, I’d recommend the 89 Show instead. We wrapped up our evening with a relaxing Thai massage and called it a night.

Day 4 – Tigers and Dolphins in Pattaya

Early morning, we went to Tiger Park Pattaya. They offer different packages based on tiger size. We chose the Giant Tiger package and got some amazing photos. One loud roar from the tiger definitely gave us chills, but the staff managed everything smoothly.

Next stop was Pattaya Dolphinarium, where we enjoyed an hour of mesmerising dolphin stunts and performances. It was wholesome and worth it. By evening, we roamed around the Pattaya Night Market, shopped, and tried some local food before heading back to our Airbnb.

Day 5 – The Long Travel to Krabi

This was a travel-heavy day. We checked out from Pattaya, took a Grab XL back to Bangkok, and caught a flight to Surat Thani Airport. From there, we booked another Grab to Krabi, around 160 km away. We reached Krabi by 7 PM, checked in, and went out to explore Ao Nang Beach and the nearby markets.

Day 6 – Ferry to Phi Phi Islands and Pirate Boat Adventure

We caught an early morning ferry to Phi Phi Islands, booked via 12go Asia. After checking into our hotel, we quickly got ready for our next adventure — the Pirate Boat Tour. This unique experience took us to Maya Bay and other nearby attractions. There was music, swimming, adventure activities, drinks, food and endless sea views. The tour ended around 8 PM, after which we explored the local Phi Phi market on foot. You can literally cover the whole island in 30 to 45 minutes.

We then booked our scuba diving session for the next day with PKT Scuba Diving Tours.

Day 7 – Scuba Diving and Ibiza Pool Party Night

This was the most awaited day — scuba diving day!
We reached the diving shop around 9 AM, got instructions on underwater communication using hand gestures, and were divided into groups (two divers per instructor).

Once underwater, the world looked magical — colourful corals, fish gliding past, and complete silence. We did two dives, each one unforgettable. Of course, we booked photo and video packages too (because, memories!).

After some rest, it was time for the Ibiza Pool Party at Phi Phi Island — held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Entry was free, and we joined the crowd around 8:30 PM. It was all music, drinks, and crazy fun till 1 AM. Later, we even stumbled upon an unplanned Muay Thai street fighting show, which was surprisingly entertaining.

Day 8 – Ferry to Phuket and Bangla Street Fun

Time to move again! We took the 11 AM ferry from Phi Phi to Phuket (booked again via 12go). After checking into our hotel, we explored local markets before resting a bit.

At night, we went to Bangla Street, the heart of Phuket nightlife. And yes, we watched the famous Ping Pong Show — a unique experience for sure (no videos allowed inside!). After that, we club-hopped, watched live pole dances, and partied till 2 AM.

Day 9 – Island Tours and More Nightlife

We booked a James Bond Island Tour the night before, which included Tham Lot Cave, Panak Island, and more. It was a decent experience — not as thrilling as the pirate boat, but still worth doing once.

Later, we chilled at our resort, Panwaburi Resort, famous for its kayaking activity. After a peaceful evening of paddling and relaxing, we got ready for another round at Bangla Street. What can we say? That place is addictive!

Day 10 – Back to Reality

And just like that, it was over. We packed our bags, caught our flight from Phuket International Airport, and headed back to New Delhi — full of stories, laughter, and memories that’ll last forever.

Final Thoughts

If you are planning your Thailand trip itinerary, make sure to balance between Bangkok’s nightlife, Pattaya’s animal encounters, Krabi’s calm beaches, Phi Phi’s adventures, and Phuket’s party vibes.

Each city has its own personality, and when combined — they make a perfect Thailand vacation story.
